Product Description Seamlessly blend traditional opulence with a relaxed, time-worn elegance using the Distressed Midnight Medallion Rug. This masterfully styled textile features an intricate classic oriental layout, showcasing a symmetrical lattice of repeating floral motifs and damask palmettes. Grounded by a rich, deep midnight blue foundation, the ornate patterns are softened with whispers of faded blush pink, soft cream, and ivory, creating a weathered, faux-antique patina that mimics a prized family heirloom. The look is pulled together by a majestic, highly detailed matching border that beautifully frames the central field, finished with a velvet-soft matte texture that absorbs reflection and highlights the subtle shade variations.
Why You Should Buy This fluidly versatile rug is the definitive styling foundation for formal sitting rooms, transitional dining areas, or romantic master bedrooms looking for character and depth. Its curated contrast of deep navy and vintage pink allows it to adapt effortlessly to mid-century modern tufted sofas, dark wood paneling, or sleek contemporary gold accents. Beyond its breathtaking old-world charm, the densely patterned composition and pre-faded distressed texture offer superb functional utility, expertly hiding unexpected lint, minor spills, and traffic marks in busy households.
Benefits
Time-Worn Distressed Vintage Aesthetic: An ornate traditional design with a faded finish that injects history, romance, and luxury into modern spaces.
Regal Midnight Blue & Faded Blush Palette: A rich monochrome background balanced by soft accents that anchor furniture arrangements perfectly.
Ornate Framing Guard Border: A highly decorative outer frame that keeps the expansive visual presentation grounded and exceptionally high-end.
Strategic High-Density Soil Camouflage: The busy motif distribution works as a natural defense shield to minimize the visibility of daily wear.
How to Take Care of Your Rug To safeguard the intricate floral lattice and preserve the delicate blue and pink balance, vacuum twice a week using a straight-suction setting without employing a rigid, rotating beater bar. For unexpected liquid spills, blot instantly with a clean, dry white cotton towel using gentle pressing motions; avoid scrubbing to protect the vintage pile effect, and let it dry naturally in a well-ventilated space.
Order Confirmation: After placing an order, a Seggad Gallery representative will contact the customer to confirm the details.
Deposit Requirement: A financial deposit (a percentage 15%-50% of the total order value) is required to finalize and confirm the order depending on Rug Size.
